GIRL-NEXT-DOOR: Dani Dingcong
Our first Style o’clock muse is Dani Dingcong, an ABS-CBN host for the program The Morning Show.
She loves to travel as seen in her IG account and confesses love for sunsets…and a good wine.
She describes her style as comfortable, minimal, smart casual and girl-next-door.
SOC: Was it easy for you to find your fashion style?
D: It was hard for me to discover what style fits me. I want to be comfortable. But work demands me to look professional and presentable all the time. And it is even harder to know how to look good because of the size of my chest, my muscular arms and my short height. I used to spend around 20 minutes looking at my closet just to decide on what would suit me for an occasion.
SOC: So how were you able to eventually figure out what suits you?
D: I started buying blazers to hide my arms: black, navy and beige. From there, I figured how easy I can match it with anything: pants, dress or skirt. Eventually, I ended up buying blazers and jackets of all designs and colors. Kahit black or white yung panloob, i can use any jacket and still look corporate.
SOC: So now that you found your personal style, where do you usually shop?
D: Uniqlo. SM Women. F21. H&M. 888!

SOC: Do you have favorite fashions brands?
D: I love UNIQLO. I love the quality and fit of their pants. I love the comfort and fit of their buttoned long sleeves. And I love the comfort and sexy style of PARISIAN shoes. All these combined gives a simple, sexy, easy-pro-look for me.
SOC: When you envision a perfect ootd, what does it look like?
D: Plain white vneck shirt, tucked in a denim or black high waist skinny jeans. A suit jacket. And a black or nude pointy stiletto.
SOC: What’s your go-to outfit when you have “nothing to wear”?
D: I worry less on this since I have a stack of white and black shirts and denims. So VNECK + DENIM SKINNY + NIKE FREE/Sandals

Nadine Lustre, Heart Evangelista, Solenn Heussaff and Victoria Beckham
SOC: Have you worn something that you now regret?
D: HAHAHA baggy pedals, tshirt and sandals “istip-in” na hindi pa color coordinated UGH CHANGE TOPIC
SOC: What’s the most daring/most unconventional outfit have you worn?
D: A bare-back see-through silver gown and a Bragais. So not my type.
